Our Community Health Project focus is to enable individuals and families from Newham’s marginalised communities irrespective of their background to better self-manage their long-term health conditions and to support people to access health and wellbeing advice, information and education to enable them to lead a healthier life free of illness and other serious health conditions.

Holding such ethnic-specific events does absolutely nothing to help these groups assimilate into the wider society. It has the opposite effect. And if we talking about marginalised societies, then me, as Polish, I am definitely more marginalised in Newham than any Bangladeshi is.
    Is this aimed solely at the Bangladeshi community? How are they a marginalised community lacking this type of support when there are an incommensurate number if mosques and muslim only community centres claiming to provide this very service?
