Community Empowerment (A Whole New World - Empowering the Community!)

Academy of Inspiration is dedicated to uplifting individuals through education and training programs in the London Borough of Newham. Founded on the belief that knowledge is the key to breaking the barriers of poverty, we tirelessly strive to provide opportunities that transform underprivileged lives.

Our project will be empowering the Community through a holistic initiative aimed at addressing the pressing challenges of low employability skills and socio-economic barriers in the Canning Town and Custom House neighbourhoods, where we are committed to creating a meaningful impact on the lives of the community.

The project's core components include a series of employability classes covering critical topics such as resume building, interview techniques, and financial literacy, whilst addressing mental well-being challenges through neuro-linguistic programming and cognitive restructuring.

The project aligns with local priorities of an inclusive economy, youth empowerment, and mental health and well-being. We aim to empower residents, break stereotypes, and contribute to a more stable, inclusive, and prosperous Canning Town and Custom House.

Through comprehensive evaluation measures, we will demonstrate tangible and intangible benefits, ultimately showing the positive impact of empowering the Community through increased employment opportunities, positive wellbeing, and community cohesion.
