Often rubbish left on the road (or blown away) can pose a risk to cyclists. There are numerous times that plastic bottles on the road made me slip while cycling.

Yes yes and yes - The rubbish is a nightmare.... from fly tipping, from residents to businesses and from cars ... Plastic bags propped up next to .... An empty Newham Litter bin because there is too much rubbish to be pushed into them

This is true of the entirety of Romford Road and the surrounding streets. If you're not swerving to avoid poor paving and potholes, there is rubbish on the kerbside and in the road. There is is a real lack of enforcement and street cleaning to keep on top of this.
