Description
My Project is about a wellbeing centre, to open three times per week. It offers free hot meals, snacks and hot and cold drinks and provides a variety of support for people with mental health issues, loneliness, homeless, street workers, mums and babies, families, and elderly.
The wellbeing café will offer free Acupuncture sessions for those in need of pain relief and has no recourse to social funds. It will also offer professional help, support, and guidance at least once per month for using various support services for domestic enquires, financial support, childcare support, mental health, housing and public health.

It's clear that the Wellbeing Cafe is making a significant impact by creating a welcoming and safe space for the local community to come together, socialise, and access support services. The fact that it offers free food and beverages, along with professional help once a month, demonstrates a deep commitment to meeting the diverse needs of the community.
With its inclusive and supportive approach, the Wellbeing Cafe has become a vital resource for many, especially for those who may be facing challenges or seeking assistance. By providing not just a meal but also a place where individuals can feel connected and supported, the cafe has truly become a beacon of community well-being.
The positive impact that the Wellbeing Cafe has had is a testament to its mission and dedication to serving the community. It's heartening to see such a valuable and supportive initiative thrive, and may it continue to positively impact the lives of those it serves.

I have been associated with the Carpenters and Docklands Centre for fifty years as a employee and as a leisure user they have always provided a good facility to the local youth and the local elderly. This new idea of a warm haven with food and warm drinks and a place to meet and talk with others with the same hardships and needs as themselves is a godsend to all, I have seen the number of people who visit this place and who rely on this place, so please support and help this Centre to keep doing the good work they do.
