This bridge absolutely requires closing, ideally with a solid filter but otherwise with cameras to allow emergency service access only. It should be a safe, pleasant link over the railway line for pupils and families travelling to and from the schools and nurseries (and others obviously!) rather than bleak and uncomfortable as it is now.
