UK Wallball in partnership with activeNewham, will work with the Beckton Community Neighbourhood Team & local residents to design and develop an open Wallball wall which allows for inclusive and easily accessible sports & physical activity for residents, and provides an engaging and positive focal point for the neighbourhood, creating further opportunities for community engagement.
Replicating the success of the Bank Side Open Spaces Trust Wallball Wall which has engaged over 2000 people since its inception and been featured on the BBC & ITV with views of over 1 million people, the wall will be designed by local residents and feature and art mural created by those who live locally.
A holistic project which fuses Sports & Arts the Wall will create a positive sustainable opportunity for residents of the local area and bring in further engagement from the surrounding area increasing overall footfall in the area and providing a real eye opening focal point for the borough
UK Wallball will also match fund the project providing Youth Opportunities and support the local community by providing free training and opportunities for people within the area to take on further activity.
