Following the recent success of our Jubilee Celebrations, we propose monthly activity days on Beckton Park South field for families of the community. At our Jubilee picnic, the children thoroughly enjoyed the activities on the day and several asked if we could ‘do this all the time!’ We would require funding for reusable equipment for things such as obstacle races (markers, skipping ropes, hula hoops etc), sports equipment for team sports, play equipment for all ages and well as arts and crafts materials. The days would be organised and planned by volunteers of the community to ensure a safe and controlled environment with a planned programme of activities and free play.
