Where has Newham's planning department got their data from to justify artists workshops when places like Apple Cart Arts and other local civic centre remain empty?

@Akhtar Hussain Apple Cart Arts is very much not empty, it’s a vibrant theatre space that I believe turns a profit and just secured £50,000 worth of funding to continue its work. It is a theatre, not an artist’s workshop, but it is also a community centre and supports things like Saturday school clubs and exercise classes on the weekend. Apple Cart arts is an amazing part of Newham, it’s a real treasure that we should savour as a community. Frankly, I want more Apple Cart arts and places like it around Green St.

I love the idea. I’m a potter and my workshop is located in a great affordable place within a dynamic community in Woolwich. But having a workshop near to where I live would save me a lot of time and money.
