Adding art to flytipping hotspots- £5000

This project aligns with Priority 1 and Priority 2.

We propose to add art installations - in the form of murals, stencils on the pavements, sculptures etc - as well as plants and greenery, at flytipping hotspots around East Ham.

There are many street corners where flytipping is rife. By installing art projects in these areas, we can deter flytippers from leaving rubbish in these areas, whilst improving the look and feel of the area, and increase feelings of peace and satisfaction amongst residents. As a secondary impact, adding greenery will also provide food and habitat for local birdlife and insects.
