The Regeneration and Restoration of Canning Town moved a step forward; Friday 22nd September 2023 marked the opening of the new Community Hub in Canning Town. A space for residents to come to find out plans for the future of Canning Town and for residents in the neighbourhood to come together as a community to express their views and meet council officers. The opened was by Mayor of Newham, Rukshana Fiaz OBE, in attendance were local residents, Chief Exceutive Abi Gbago, local councillors and contractors. It was a beautiful sunny day and nice to see all come together for the good of the community.
Opening days and times will be available soon. Also keep a look out for updates, activities and events coming to the neighbourhood at the Hub.
