Nicole Bellovor 1 Jahr Mums, Babies & Toddlers ProjectSphere Support CIC is proposing a new community project to support mothers, babies, and toddlers in Newham Stratford. Many local families face challenges such as isolation, low income, and limited access to affordable early years activities. This project will provide a safe, welcoming space where families can come together, learn, and build lasting connections.The project will run weekly sessions offering: Play-based learning and activities to support toddlers’ early development. Workshops for mums on health, nutrition, parenting skills, and child development. Peer support and networking, helping mothers reduce isolation and share experiences. Guest professionals, such as health visitors and nutritionists, to provide practical advice. By creating opportunities for both parents and children, the project will improve health and wellbeing, confidence, and community belonging. We expect to reach 40–50 families regularly, benefitting at least 60–80 individuals.We are applying for funding to cover staffing, venue hire, equipment, and resources to make the project accessible and free for families most in need. Our goal is to give children the best start in life while helping mothers feel supported, connected, and empowered in their community.

Sharon Alleynevor 1 Jahr The project is to provide two wheelchair accessible planters, a shelter from the extreme sunshine and rain, a polytunnel to grow plants from seed of which some will be sold as part of the sustainability of the project, increase the current number of fruit and vegetable planters and repair the historic Bawley prawn play boat. To hold three events to bring people together to foster relationships and forge a larger community.The project is based around health and well-being of the residents. It is a safe supervised alcohol and smoking and vaping free environment. It brings local residents and residents from other parts of Newham together. The allotment provide organically grown fruit and vegetables. The overall scheme provides nutritional, physical and financial benefits addressing health issues and the cost-of-living crisis for low income people. Other benefits of the garden are social interaction, interaction with nature, health benefits associated with gardening, positive impact on those suffering from isolation and loneliness, anxiety, stress and depression. It helps with the dexterity of the young, disabled and elderly. Positively impacting on the general health and well-being of individuals and the overall community.

Monika Szollevor 1 Jahr Project Description:Our project will empower Newham residents to become guardians of our local bees, transforming fear into fascination through hands-on education. As a resident beekeeper, I will host a series of interactive workshops and community events aimed at people of all ages.Our plan includes:Weekly beekeeping sessions from April to September for anyone interested.A vibrant World Bee Day celebration at Abbey Gardens for the entire community.Creative beeswax workshops for adults during the winter.This initiative directly addresses the priorities of Health and Wellbeing, Community Safety, and Community Development. By fostering a deeper connection with nature and providing safe, welcoming spaces, we will reduce isolation, build stronger community bonds, and educate residents on how to safely coexist with our vital pollinators.This project is a call to action for our community to get involved, learn, and grow together. Please support us in creating a more connected and compassionate Newham.

Tiwa Kingvor 1 Jahr · Following the profound impact of SENshine Fest at Timber Lodge, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park Summer 25, inspired by the love of a mother for her autistic son and the lack of SEN friendly safe activities, we welcomed 200 families and 200 on the waiting list. The community asked, “What can we, as a community, do to make this regular provision for our families?” The SENshine Project is the answer. A bold, youth-led programme co-designed and steered by four autistic young leaders and their families, it transforms one moment of joy ( The SENshine Fest) into sustained, sensory-aware weekly sessions and two community SENshine Fest showcases. SENshine expands access, reduces isolation, strengthens family resilience, increases wellbeing and creates safe spaces where young people with SEN can be themselves, free and happy with no judgement. It proves that communities hold the solutions to their own challenges, giving families with SEN, and those who want to learn and embrace them, the chance to truly shine.

Each week, we explore a different hands-on activity, all aimed at helping you de-stress and reconnect with yourself.Through relaxed afternoon teas and open discussions, participants can connect, share experiences and build supportive friendships. From mindful crafting to expressive painting, these activities provide a therapeutic outlet for self-expression. You'll work with your hands to create something beautiful, all in a judgment-free zone. Taking part in fun and unique activities like escape rooms and scavenger hunts is a fantastic way to boost wellbeing and build connections. These activities are far more than just games, they are powerful tools for personal and social growth. We'll also explore relaxing sessions that help you connect with your body and find a sense of calm through massages and mini spa activities.Our sessions will be held at London Stadium Learning, located in Stratford.

From March 2026, we plan to run weekly Mind Vacation workshops (every other month). Join us to find stillness in a calm and quiet setting where you can block out intrusive and unhelpful chatter.Did you know that you have a perceptive mind? To find out all about it, all you have to do is show up and help to design the themes you want to work with over the year. This may include a range of topics, such as: anxiety, relaxation, emotional wellness, rest or sleep. You will experience guided meditation to create: goals, mantras, affirmations and skills to assist in your holistic development.If you prefer to sit or lay on the floor please bring a mat.We look forward to seeing you and receiving your votes!

Mohammed Ahmed Mohammedvor 10 Monaten Young people in Stratford, West Ham, and Plaistow face isolation, low confidence, and negative influences that harm wellbeing and limit opportunities. Many are also at risk of involvement in crime and violence, which can severely affect their futures.Youth Active provides a safe, vibrant evening programme where young people can connect, learn, and grow. Activities include football, multi-sports, table tennis, pool, arts and crafts, coding, and digital skills. Alongside fun, young people receive mentoring, guidance, and advice from trusted adults to help them build resilience, make positive choices, and steer away from crime and violence.We aim to empower young people to develop confidence, resilience, and a positive sense of identity. The programme will reduce risks of crime, violence, and anti-social behaviour, strengthen connections with family, peers, and the wider community, and open pathways into education, training, and employment, supporting brighter and safer futures for young people.

Chinagorum Nkaruvor 1 Jahr Youth Voice Against Drug Abuse (YVADA) is an inspiring initiative empowering young people in Newham to use music as a tool for awareness, prevention, and change. The project unites youths from community churches, giving them a collective voice to challenge the dangers of drug misuse.Drug abuse is often stigmatized and hard to address, but music provides a powerful, non-threatening medium that speaks to both heart and mind. Through song, YVADA delivers messages of hope, resilience, and positive choices, fostering dialogue, reflection, and healing.Beyond prevention, participants gain teamwork, leadership, and creative skills, while reconnecting with their churches and community. With over 100 youths engaged, funding will support training, mentorship, equipment, and events—amplifying a powerful message of unity and hope.

This project isn't just about taking pictures; it's about creating a visual time capsule—a vital record of our current landmarks, streets, and the people who live here, preserving their stories for future generations. * Skill-Building for Everyone: We will offer FREE, expert-led workshops in digital photography and oral history. Cassandra Delisservor 1 Jahr Roots to Rhythm is an innovative youth-led music program designed for individuals aged 15-24, aiming to empower young people to share their musical talents and skills with their peers in the community. This initiative will facilitate workshops where participants can learn and develop their musical abilities, culminating in a showcase event that celebrates their achievements. By fostering a spirit of inclusion and collaboration, Roots to Rhythm seeks to create a vibrant community where creativity thrives and young people inspire one another. The primary purpose of Roots to Rhythm is to provide a platform for youth to express themselves creatively through music, enhancing their confidence and leadership skills. By organising workshops led by young musicians, such as Deji, who has experience playing the drums in church and practices regularly, we aim to cultivate an environment where young people can come together to learn, share knowledge, and build connections. This peer-to-peer model not only encourages skill development but also promotes a sense of belonging and community engagement.
